Paranoid

Wednesday, May 12, 2010 9:05 PM

I've been such a paranoid lately and to be honest it was kinda tiring and frustrating. I was so convinced that I won't get paranoid, well guess now my foot is in my big fat mouth... LOL!

2010 Oscars Red Carpet Fashion

Monday, March 8, 2010 9:39 PM

As promised, here are my list of favorite Oscars 2010 Red Carpet Fashion (not in particular order).

1) Zoe Saldana in Givenchy Couture : I so loved this gown that Zoe wore, it is so ooh-la-la with the sparkly bodice and the crazy purple ruffles at the bottom.

2) Kristen Stewart in Monique Lhuillier : I love Kristen Stewart despite her inability to pose or dressed in couture.  This deep navy dress looks stunning on her and for me, this is probably her best Red Carpet look of all.

3) Cameron Diaz in Oscar de la Renta : This dress looks like what Taylor Swift would wear but Cameron owned this dress with minimal jewelry as the dress itself is full or sparkle.

4) Sandra Bullock in Marchesa : Sandra Bullock looks so pretty in this metallic sheath dress and is appropriate for the winner of the Best Actress in Leading Role.

5) Anna Kendrick in Elie Saab Couture : I think she finally chose the appropriate dress and she looks fabulous in this blush tone color. In my opinion, this is her best look of the Red Carpet.

6) Jennifer Lopez in Armani Privé : This dress up close looks like a bubble wrap but I love it. Not loving her hair though.

7) Carey Mulligan in Prada : Shia La Beouf's main squeeze looks so adorable in this black beaded dress by Prada. Some may hate the front hem of the dress, but I think looks great.

8) Meryl Streep in Chris March : This dress worn by Meryl Streep is designed by Chris March (Project Runaway) is blah but she looks effortlessly chic.

9) Demi Moore in Atelier Versacé : What can I say? Absolutely gorgeous.

10) Helen Mirren in Badgley Mischka : This ethereal dress makes Dame Helen Mirren looks like a fabulously chic fairy god mother.

11) Giuliana Rancic in Gustavo Cadile : I love this dress on G especially the color. I think she looks stunning.

12) Gabourey Sidibe in Marchesa : Gabourey looks pretty in blue with the detailed appliqué in this Marchesa gown.

There's actually more but I'm limiting it to 12... I may not be an expertise in fashion but if it looks good... it's looks good ;o)

82nd Annual Academy Awards

2:16 PM

So the Oscars just finished and as always it is predictable. Once if you have won the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild Awards, you'll definitely will win an Oscar. Unfortunately for James Cameron and Avatar, it was his ex-wife Kathryn Bigelow who snagged 6 awards out of nine nominations (if I'm not mistaken) including Best Director and Best Film. Well, James you have the biggest grossing movies of all time but you just can't have it all. Better luck next time.
Jeff Bridges won for Best Actor in leading role and Sandra Bullock for Best Actress in leading role. Christoph Waltz (woohoo) won Best Supporting Actor and Moni'que won for Best Supporting Actress.
I loved Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin, they were awesome and hilarious. They should totally host for next year as well. My favorite presenter of the night would have to be Ben Stiller. He came out as an Avatar and even spoke Navi... ROTFL... Totally funny.
Anyways, the red carpet fashion will be on my next entry. Hey, I wanna be a critic too :o)

Updates

Monday, February 8, 2010 8:19 PM

Wow... Haven't updated by blog since forever. Anyways, as usual nothing much is happening but I sure do hang out plus shisha-ing a lot with Ira lately and I do realize that I do have hell of time hanging out with her. Anyways, just last week on Friday night we decided to do Glee's 'I Say A Little Prayer For You' dance which is very simple, but when we tried to do it... We totally suck only because we haven't dance to a choreography for such a long time. We weren't synchronized at all... LOL... But we do kinda manage it in the end... On the bright side, it was an exercise for us :o)
